in case this slipped past you guys. gamespot says theyve planned live coverage starting at 4pm pacific (less than two hours from when i posted this message)
on today's agenda is rock band

im hoping the segment on rock band will rival the depth and length of the clip we saw from E3. but i'll be happy with anything longer than 30 seconds lol

The info bar does not equal an official word from EA and/or Harmonix. I'm sure they will make a point to say "we are now giving you the release date" when it becomes official, and not just slip it into a gamespot video.

I know it seems like a technicality, but I've seen it before with games. Just because IGN/Gamespot says it is so, does not make it so.

Exactly. I remember interviews from GC in Leipzig where they said "Yeah, we're announcing 5 songs today, blah blah blah" Technically, I think 5 songs were released at GC in Leipzig, and now the other 5 are being "released" at PAX, but it got mucked up in the translation and all 10 were released on wednesday.

But we'll see, maybe 5 more are on their way.

Awesome coverage of PAX. Man, I wish I could go, but, too far away. Thats what I get for living in PA, but, at least I get the VGXPO (www.vgxpo.com) in Philly, the closest I can get to E3 or PAX before I go next year, but it is a great show. I really hope HMX would bring RB to VGXPO, but, the show is in the beginning of Nov., so, it'd be cutting it really close to release. So, if you're on the east coast and you want a VG show, come to VGXPO. :cool: But, anyway, the RB coverage on this video, except for the sound quality of the HMX rep., was awesome! I'll be sure to tune into the other live feed today at 4. Also, that Virtual Amy Experience is bangin'. I wanna see if that things touring anywhere near me. I know this quote is from a while ago, but I lol'ed and had to say YEAH FINALLY SOMEONE WITH A BRAIN!!! I don't trust anything unless it's confirmed by harmonix...frankly November 20th release confirmation would not be ":D" as one person said because the two release dates that are being tossed around are Nov 20th and Nov 6th and I don't know what universe you live in, but here November 6th comes BEFORE November 20th.......and I think earlier is better...right?

Yeah, and besides that video and audio quality kinda sucks, the actual part of Rockband in it is very small, they only show drums and two songs. (Jet and Ok Go) But they never played them to the end and the Gamespot guy sucked and even pressed the Guide button while playing.
