I searched and found all kinds of issues where people had guitars that won't on, but mine won't turn off. PS3 guitar. I change the batteries and it works just fine, play it as long as I want, and remove the dongle, and the light turns off, so I switch the guitar to off and think all is good.. however, when I come back and try it again in a few days, nothing. Change the batteries, and it's working again.
As a temporary fix, I just leave the battery door off and take them out when it's not in use. Any suggestions, or should I hit up the number and see about getting a replacement? I've only had my copy of rock band for about two weeks now, as I just recently got around to buying a PS3.
