BEFORE I START: Please remember, this is MY opinion. You have no idea how often I am flamed for either liking my taste in music, or for not liking My chemical Romance.

Well, I have always had a thread or two with a couple songs that I think would work. I guess I'll just bring them all together with one thread and a description. It's not a whole set-list, but just some amazing what-ifs and hopefuls!

AC/DC - Thunderstruck

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Z8LqrGKqY_U"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Z8LqrGKqY_U" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

I mean, it's a given. It'd be an amazing Final Encore song, on all peripherals. The guitar, fast, challenging, changing. Vocals, energizing, challenging, all around awesome. Bass/Rhythm, would both be awesome, even though they're in the background, they add tons to the game itself! The Drums, if you just look at the drummer, even he looks to be having an amazing time!!

Whitesnake - Here I go again (on my own)

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/QfYpaftSbo0"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/QfYpaftSbo0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Just listen to it! Maybe not suited for a Final encore, but still...amazing...The vocals are the high point of this one. It's so adrenaline-pumping, it's unbearable!! The drums, still awesome. The guitars come in at the most PERFECT time!! Just amazing

Guns N Roses - Paradise City

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OsrDv3K7RNI"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OsrDv3K7RNI" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Oh man...don't get me started...BEST. FINAL. ENCORE. EVER. If you listen to it all the way through, you will know why. It's all nice in the beginning, gets more intense, then it's just...POW, awesome!! The vocals, obviously amazing. The guitar...c'mon, it's Slash, what more do you want!? Bass, it stands out, you can hear it, it's amazing! The drums, Jesus, awesome! Wait till about 4 1/2 minutes in. You just get that explosion of amazing!!

Guns N Roses - Nightrain

(Sorry, could only find the live version)

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/VtyqIRMJLCs"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/VtyqIRMJLCs" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Another GnR, still amazing. Once again, you may not like Axl, but he sings awesomely! Slash, dude...seriously. It has the same qualities of Paradise City, the bass stands out, and the drums are freaking great.

Van Halen - Panama

(Sorry, dont mind that "Injected with a poison!" crap. It was put in by the person who posted the video. The only other video I could find was lagging with the sound a bit)

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/gX2CyIH_ebE"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/gX2CyIH_ebE" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

It has just electrifying guitar the entire time throught. Even 25 second in, it just has the adrenalin pumping intro blast. And when it has that mini solo of 0-4-4 going into the main verse (Roughly 40 seconds in) and then just EXPLODES into the verse. The drums, it makes the whole song! The bass...listen...if you have a bass guitar in the shape of Jack Daniels...it's important...I could go on for paragraphs, but then it'd take up the whole page...

How can you say you hate AC/DC and GnR?! They are the essence of Rock themselves! They shaped all Rock that exists today!!

Hmmmm, constructive arguement. AC/DC were on the the first rock bands and i agree, they helped define rock. As did GnR, Slash being on of the best guitarists ever helped shape rock further.

ugh fine you want me to argue just so that i can piss you guys off even worse?? fine with me

ac/dc were NOT one of the very first rock bands, and in saying so is incredibly ridiculous. there were many many many other bands way before ac/dc and a lot of them being a lot better than the aforementioned band. nothing they did was technically unique. they have a unique sound (which is constantly repeated throughout their long and horribly stretched out career) but they are not unique. nothing in their music screams to me "look we invented this" or "look wut we started". now normally this isn't a bad thing, but there are many good bands that aren't exactly genre defining or push the limits on anything but when you call these bands important or significant to music other than to yourself than there's the problem. with that said looking back maybe i don't *hate* ac/dc like i do bands like gnr, power metal, and dream theater, but i just dont' care for them.

as for gnr well i just don't ****ing like them. ac/dc has atleast 5 good songs, but dear lord i can't stand any of gnr's songs. and yes i agree with slash being a great guitarist but he is far from being one of the best nor did he shape rock forever well other than how to die on drugs and come back to life
