Guys this is a not rocket science. If the developers are not familar with some of these songs Ive suggested maybe they should check them out, and then they would see what I see in them. Great lyrics, harmonies, drums, and kicking guitar licks!

So Rockband fans please feel free to add on to my list of choices. There are so MANY BETTER SONGS OUT THERE that get over looked week in and week out! The game is called rockband. Plus as I remember stuff I will add as well!

Your preaching to the chior here. I feel the same way, the 80's flooded the world with music and it is a shame that it is not being represented in Rock Band.

For WhiteSnake your missing "Slide it In" .That guitar riff is friggin awsome, you totally feel the song with it. I could list 100's of songs that should be in the game from the 80's. I am sure some people wouldn't like but your right, they are missing some of the biggest names from that era.

Ozzy "Shot in the Dark" another good tune along with about 20 other songs from him that would be great.

80's music I am 100% onboard with anything from anyone who wore makeup and sported long hair.

ACDC and Bon Jovi would be cool, especially Living on a Prayer.

I know this is an '80's thread (and God knows I love '80's rock) but there are about 30 '80's songs in the game. However, there are only two songs (plus some from The Grateful Dead pack) listed under the '60's. I would want to see more from the '60's before the '80's. But I won't complain if they release some '80's rock next week. :)

anything for some Van Halen!!! An Eruption/You Really Got Me combination song (since Eruption was meant as a lead in for You Really Got Me) would be epic and full of energy.

I am not counting any of the punk stuff, I know that they were out on the 80's but they were a niche market and not a good judge of 80's music. When I think of the 80's MTV pops in my mind with all the music videos and what was commonly played on it and thats what i am refering to. Head Bangers Ball on saturday nights, anyone remember that ?

I agree, but I like New Wave and Post Punk. They've barely had any of that. In the 80s expansion pack of Guitar Hero 2, they had like 3 New Wave songs, and no Post Punk.
