Is there a reason they decided to make a whole new mode for solo career instead of just having you able to play Band World Tour solo with CPU band mates? Does anyone know if they plan on making a solo band world tour mode?

Sing and play guitar/bass at the same time. That's what I'm doing and I've got 6 million fans and I'm in the hall of fame and about to do the endless setlist.

It's Band World Tour... not Solo World Tour.

Uh, so because of the title of the mode they couldn't make it so you could play solo with CPU band mates? IMO there's no reason not to do it. In fact, they probably wasted more time then they had to making a completely different mode instead of just making band world tour also playable solo...

CPU band members are lame.
There would be no real band concept with a solo Band World Tour... I don't think it would be a real great idea.

If you take away the fact that you earn no fans, you cannot do the endless set list, and you cannot get into the hall of fame, and what you have is the solo tour.
I am stating this because you stated above that CPU band members are lame. Well if you are a singer than the drummer, bassist, and lead are all CPU and vice versa!
So I have to agree that a solo world tour mode would have been a little better, then you would not have to wait on people who can play at your level to be able to complete endless set list as well as other task.
Yes I understand that there are people who are singing and playing a guitar or whatever solo, how ever this is hard to do and not everyone has either the time or the willingness to do it.
