Subject: Freezepop in RockBand... it's official!!

We've got some really exciting news for you : )

Continuing our proud tradition of being included in all the amazing games that Harmonix makes (FreQuency, Amplitude, GH1&2, etc.) , we are very excited to announce that our song "Brainpower" which you might have heard just last night at PAX in Seattle, is going to be playable in the game RockBand. RockBand will be released in November and be available for xbox360 and ps3 so get your guitars and drums and mics ready! If you thought Guitar Hero was fun, wait until you play this game. I can personally assure you of it's awesomeness.

If you can't wait until then, you'll be able to hear Brainpower on our soon to be released album Future Future Future Perfect which will be out on Sept. 25th.

Damn. As soon as I heard Brainpower a few weeks ago, I knew the lyrics were just for Rock Band ("Brainpower" is supposed to be the name of a band). It is a really short song at 2:10 (shortest song on their new album of the 11 songs I've heard), and I'm really not fond of it.

I was really hoping for something else. First Freezepop song in a Harmonix game that I'm not really looking forward to. Oh well.

Bass should actually be fun and the drums won't be too bad, but I can't stand the vocals in that song.

Freezepop DLC, please!

Every Freezepop song in every HMX game that I can think of has been a bonus song, so it pretty much is automatically a bonus song. They'd never replace a mainstream rock hit with an indie synthpop band and count it as one of the 40 licensed songs.

Freezepop is in every Harmonix game. It's tradition fool!

Check out Less Talk More Rokk or Get Ready to Rokk. Both were in GH and are synth-pop n00b friendly.

I would LOVE to see Freezepop in RB, I mean, their songs haven't disappointed us yet, well, at least not me yet. But, I'd definetly like to play songs like 'Bike Thief' or 'Duct Tape My Heart', which are songs that are good for all of the instruments in RB, especially the drums because they're actually possible to do with the RB drums. :) Although, Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freezepop_%28band%29) says that their song 'Brain Power' is featured in RB, but, NEVER believe Wiki, well, at least if you don't already know the fact yet.;)

I'm not a fan, but I've enjoyed playing every song they've put into GH1, GH2, Amp, and Freq. For them not to be in a Harmonix game would be a travesty.
