Custom Painting my guitar... BriGuy?

Hey.. I know that BriGuy (back from the original GH forums) is around here.. I'm looking for your help again. Since I had your PM on the first GH forums, its obviously since been removed since it went to guitarhero.com. I'm looking for help again on how to achieve my "pink sparkle" guitar. I believe you said to start off with a cherry red basecoat followed by pearl top to get the hot pink.. but I just want to make sure (as i am JUST NOW getting around to wanting to do it). For reference, this is the effect I was going for, but glittery:

Sorry if this isn't exactly on topic, but I'm curious.

Is the bass in that pic a Schecter? It looks a lot like mine.
