Funny mic question

I was wondering if anybody has had this happen.

When friends come over to play RockBand, and they decide to play vocals for the first time ever, when it's time to join the band, they talk into the mic as if they think it's voice activated and they say stuff like "Yes." "Join." "Vocals".

I always think it's funny. Just wondering if it has happened to other people.

But when I do have someone over that's never played I'm going to tell them it's voice activated. Just for kicks.

I have actually had two separate friends do this. That's funny.

Both times everyone else laughed at them for doing it.

Never had that happen here, but I have noticed that holding the mic will instinctively cause people to do the two-step whitey dance when they're not singing.

I have not seen this happen, but I have seen a person examining the mic looking for buttons to press.

Can a PS3 Mic be used on a Xbox 360?

I ask because my brother had to buy the game by itself for the 360. He needs a mic and there is a used one at a gamestop for a good price. I want to pick it up since the 360 version says you can use any USB based mic. Well this is a USB based mic but I want a confirmation before I buy it... anyone know?
