Hello, I just received my replacement pedal that stopped registering kicks and powered the drums back up after a short break. But now my red drum pad only registers 75% of the hits. There is no visual damage to the pad surface, and all the other pads seem to work just fine.
Is there anything I can do? or do I need a replacement drum kit?

Sounds like you need a new kit.....good luck on getting ones that work

I tried to play again, it looks like i have to hit the red pad very hard in order to register all the hits, but if i do that they will be destroyed very shortly, not to mention rolls do not register at all...
I filled an RMA form and I guess i'm stuck playing on the guitar until I get the new set.

I am having a very similar issue. It's only on the red pad, it seems like I have to hit it harder in order to ensure it picks up the hit. it totally ruins every streak I'm on
I just bought this yesterday and I believe it's one of the newer makes of the drums so I'm going to give it a couple of days before RMAing

Try some mods first... like the sock mod... that might work...

I have the same problem, but it's when I hit the drum closer to the top. Seems to be fine if I hit it in the bottom two-thirds of the drum. Somewhat good to know that I'm not the only one having problems.
