Bass Effects

I was away for a week with no computer and I was just wondering if anyone knows what the effects on the bass will be? Because flange, wah, and echo are not usually played on a bass.

I was hoping slap bass would be one of them.

no clue, I don't think that has ever been talked about before. I would assume that they are the same as the guitar, but slap and other unique bass effects would be better

Yea, they're probably the same as the guitar, but you usually hear flange and the wah pedal when someone is strumming. And as someone said before, bass rarely plays echo because bass is used for keeping time. It would be kinda stupid to have the same effects as the guitar.

Delay is about the only truly rare effect on bass, since it's primarily a rhythm instrument. If you want some wah or flange on bass listen to Bootsy Collins. Find Flashlight by Parlianment-Funkadelic.

Regardless, I'm waiting to hear more about effects. I think it could be a great feature, I'm just not sure how it will be used.
