Okay, people. What happens if you're on vocals and you yawn? I do all nighters with Guitar Hero and I try to sing along while playing (Which is slightly harder I should add) and I yawn a few times during sections of the song that don't give me enough time to inhale. So if I happen to yawn, I'll miss sections of the song AND lose points (not literally) for saying the wrong "word" (semi-literally). Who knows. Maybe it'll activate star power when I time it right.

Haha, I guess you'll just have to sing it your best while yawning. Now THERE'S a challenge. the YAWN challenge! :p

People on tour manage to pull it off night after night.

I sing along to the words while playing too, and always run out of breath... But never have I ever yawned because of it. I think maybe you're the only one with this yawning problem.

Yeah. I'd get that checked out. Although professional musicians probably do a lot of preparation anyway.

But more importantly: what if I sneeze?!

Or burp?

Or cough?

Think of it; "yawning is caused by an excess of carbon dioxide and lack of oxygen in the blood" and when you talk, sing, or what ever, you are exhaling. For a long speach or section of a song with little breaks, you need to inhale more oxygen or you'll passout eventually. So inorder to stop yourself from passing out, you need to yawn. What happens when you sing during a long part of a song? You yawn.

Why can't you sing while you yawn?... I can talk when I yawn, so should it be that big a deal? I guess it would depend on how sensitive the singometer is, eh? :D

I also wondered, what if you put the microphone by the speakers to get 100%? Would it work?

HAHAH thats a really interesting idea, I'm not sure, maybe it wouldn't because of all the other sound coming out of the speakers?

OMG!! What if, while I'm drumming, I sneak a fart?!?!?! The odor released could make the singer gag, which in turn will make the bassist and guitarist laugh, and in turn would make me get the giggles....then we all fail a song.....just because of a Taco Bell soft shell supreme taco.

So remember folks...what you have for fourthmeal, may kill your score.:D

I sing karaoke at a little bar by my house quite a lot, and I've run out of breath while singing plenty of times. I've burped (because of the beer), coughed, probably even sneezed, but never yawned. That's crazy and rediculous to yawn while singing... I guess maybe if I was extremely tired, or was singing a boring song... But even still.
