Account Linking Problem XBX360

I've been trying every day, hoping it will work. I did change my XBL gamertag after starting, would that make a difference? I've even tried both internet browsers (IE and Firefox), and even tried with all cache cleared. Any other suggestions? All of my friends who are in my band have been able to link successfully also.

Account linking doesn't work if you have ever changed your gamertag. Check out this post (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?p=362871#post362871).
