5. Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2) - The Wall
6. Comfortably Numb - The Wall
7. In The Flesh - The Wall

1. Money - Dark Side of the Moon - Big sax parts. Wouldn't work.
2. Echoes - Meddle - waaaay too long, big gaps. Wouldn't work.
3. Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Wish You Were Here - Big dull parts all around and too long. Wouldn't work.
4. Young Lust - The Wall - Ok
5. Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2) - The Wall - Ok
6. Comfortably Numb - The Wall - Big gaps for lead guitar and dull parts. Wouldn't work
7. In The Flesh - The Wall - Huge gaps for the singer, racial slurs. Iffy
8. Brian Damage/Eclipse - Dark Side Of The Moon - Sorta dull
9. Speak To Me/Breathe - Dark Side Of The Moon - Gaps, noise. Wouldn't work
10. Run Like Hell - The Wall - Meh

Argh.
Great Gig In The Sky
Lucifer Sam
Your Possible Pasts
Time
Have A Cigar
Why are these missing?
Also, In The Flesh? as opposed to In The Flesh. In The Flesh? isn't offensive.
But, good on you for Young Lust and Run Like Hell.

You have to throw in "Hey You", I think that would be a fantastic song.
Whatever Pink Floyd would work would be a great addition to Rock Band.

Hey You would be fun for the singer and guitarist (In an 18 and Life kind of way) but the drummer doesn't come in for about one and a half minutes.

10. Run Like Hell - The Wall - Meh
1. Money - the Guitar solo would be worth it, also, it switches time signatures during the song, which would be challenging and fun. Drum parts are good, and gives the bass player something to do
2. Echoes - Meddle - Not the entire sound, just the heavier parts
3. Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Wish You Were Here - Pick it up about half way through the song, just when the guitar starts to pick up, after that, one of the best Pink Floyd songs
6. Comfortably Numb - The Wall - The guitar solo has been regarded as one of the best ever
8. Brian Damage/Eclipse - Dark Side Of The Moon - ending to one of the greatest albums of all time, Brain Damage is good, and keeps interest, Eclipse isnt a half bad song
9. Speak To Me/Breathe - Dark Side Of The Moon - Atleast Breathe, good song for the singer, and guitar work is incredible
10. Run Like Hell - The Wall - If your playing and getting into it, its a great track
Maybe it would also be interesting to have like a Pink Floyd medley in the game? Maybe just like their Live 8 set in 2005, Breathe, WYWH, Money, Comfortably Numb

Great Gig would be an amazing challenge for the singer, those who aren't familiar w/ the song would do horrible, but for those who have memorized it, it would be the most anticipated song for Rock Band
and thanks, two of my favorite songs

Oh, by the way, why not Dogs? I'd say it fits the game better than Shine On You Crazy Diamond or Echoes.

wow, idk how i missed this thread. had to give it a bump. i'm just gonna add a few that would work well in RB to all the great songs already discussed (no point in me listing anyting from Darkside, WYWH, or The Wall, they are pretty well covered):
Dogs, Pigs (Three Different Ones), Sheep (basically all of Animals), Let There Be More Light, Corporal Clegg, The Gold Its In The..., Childhood's End, Free Four, The Nile Song, Ibiza Bar, Fearless, San Tropez, Careful With That Axe Eugene, Biding My Time, Country Song, Fat Old Sun, Astronomy Domine, Lucifer Sam, Take Up Thy Stethoscope And Walk, Bike.
ps Queenfreak, Echoes is the greatest song in the history of existance. its great to see fellow Floydians here that actually know about their other albums. Meddle is DEFINITELY my favorite Floyd ablum (if i used that album cover as my avatar, hardly anyone would know what the hell it is).

What is this **** about certain parts being "worth it" when you have to slog through parts that simply don't work for the game. They're trying to construct a setlist that will hold up and remain fun at all times and you want to have a player cut out of a song for chunks of time to give something to another. The truth is most of these songs won't work, it's simply a matter of how Pink Floyd constructed their music, and the tracklist isn't nearly big enough to accommodate songs that will only work for part of the complete band.
Get over it.

There are plenty of Floyd songs that fit. A bunch of their huge hits don't though.

there are a TON of floyd songs that would work. all those ones i just listed would, and thats not even including anything from Darkside, WYWH, or The Wall. imo, waiting a minute or so to play u're part while the music is building up would be awesome, although it wouldn't be for everyone. u ever heard of DLC? i'm not tryin to say the setlist on the game disc needs multiple Floyd songs. 1 would be nice tho :D
