I've had it. It's not that great. Here's the best way to explain the taste:

Take a cherry freeze pop
melt it
pour it in a glass
cool it in the fridge
add alka seltzer.

Also, it has more caffeine than a red bull. So, not exactly good for you either...

Yeah, it isn't that great.. but it's not terrible..

It's a good thing I can actually drink it without a problem, or else this 2 liter would go to waste.

I only like the original MD and MD Livewire. I hate Code Red, haven't had Pitch Black, and Baja Blast (from Taco Bell) is effing disgusting.

Oh, and if MDX counts.. then that, too.. I love MDX.

Pitchblack sucked. Live wire was awesome. I mean, how often do you drink something named after a Motley Crue song?! :P

Code Red is good, too. I have a minifridge filled with them. Regular Mountain Dew is great. But I hate those knock offs you'll find in stores like Wal-Mart of Sam's Club. Mountain Lightning? Double-You Tea Eff?

I haven't tried Pitchblack II. Or Arctic Burst. Or Baja Blast. Or .... Darth Dew? They're spitting out new Mountain Dew flavors at what ever oppertunity they can! This Halo 3 brand is really pissing me off. They said it's a limited time offer. Same with Live Wire back in the summer of '03 if I remember correctly. But I bought a small bottle of Live Wire sometime back in May. You'll find bottles of the Halo 3 MD on eBay like you do with Crystal Pepsi. By the way, Pepsi Blue sucks. And everything "grape" flavored doesn't taste like grapes. That's bull****. Just because it's purple, it doesn't mean it tastes like them. Some grapes are green, you know. Everything purple tastes sour. I have to check every skittle to see if I'm going to vomit. If they marketed it as plum flavored, nobody would want it. So they chose grape flavor. It sucks. Blue flavor things suck, too.

Pitchblack is actually grape coughsyrup flavored...

Baja Blast is by far my favorite, possibly because it's the only Dew spinoff that doesn't taste like regular MD mixed with cough syrup (I do like Livewire though...)

also, I kinda liked Pepsi Blue, I may just have weird tastes in soft drinks though..,

I love MDX and Code Red.
Pitch Black is the ****tiest "grape" soda you'll ever have. Who knows what it's supposed to taste like lol.

I saw a commercial for this Game Fuel, I was just thinking to myself "You've gotta be kiddin me"

Because it's being promoted solely for Halo 3 really lol

Ah...it's not that pitchblack was grape, nothing is really grape flavored...but i have a thing for the grape cough syrup taste...yes...i am weird.

I really don't like code red, livewire is good...I had MDX when it came out...just tasted like regular MD to me...maybe I'll give it another shot...

My thoughts? How about upon firing up my xbox and what's the first thing I see? 1/4 of my damn screen taken up by an ad for flourescent colored sugar water! "GAME FUEL" Pffft. What a joke! I PAY for XBL! Why in the hell am I being bombarded with ads for junk food? Or any ad's for that matter?

If they want to advertise a trailer for an upcoming game or movie...no strings attached, then hey great. I have no problem with that. But I just love how they slip this crap in. I'm sure a regular ad for McDonalds or Mt. Dew wouldn't fly. Buuuuuuuut if they for instance, offer a free movie on XBL - IF you agree to some McDonald's promotion. (Burgercon) or dress up a ****ty drink as "GAME FUEL" Halo 3 special edition!!! Ooooo... then it's okay? It's NOT okay!

That **** pisses me off to no end. Can't we go for five minutes without someone shoving an ad in our face!? Gah!

I see ads for the Halo 3 Zune, the Halo 3 wireless mic, Halo 3 Xbox 360, Halo 3 Mountain Dew, Halo 3 picture packs, even Halo 3's release date. It's absolutely nuts! I can't stand it when they advertise for such an overrated game. I know that the phrase "overrated" is.... overrated, and I never use it, but this game deserves to be called overrated. I mean, I bought Crackdown because the demo was amazing. I didn't give two craps about the Halo 3 Beta.

As far as Game Fuel goes, I really like the stuff. It's the only soda product I've purchased the last few weeks, although I'm admittedly tiring of it now. It's still pretty tasty I think... which is weird because I typically shy away from the hideously over-sugared soft drinks.

I haven't yet tried it, but I will eventually. I bet it's secretly "Live Wire" or whatever with a different name:p. I never tried "Live Wire" so once I try Game Fuel I won't be able to see if it's the same or not.

Plus, they've got that whole giveaway thing with it, right? I'd probably only do it for that. I don't drink Mountain Dew regularly, I'm more of a Vault man mehself.

Baja Blast=severely awesome! All it needs is tequila! Which, unfortunately, is not sold at taco bell (however most taco bells are somewhere within walking distance of a liquor store!)

I actually like Game Fuel...heres the deal

Me and a group of my friends do a game night every other weekend, and we are infact Energy Drink Gurus. What you need to do is chase down an energy drink that works for you (because everyone is different when it comes to energy drinks) with a Game Fuel, it acts as a good "Fuel Injector Cleaner" if you get that. Other than that it just tastes good...

The only downside to all of this, you will have to piss a lot.

All in all I think Vault has more of a kick than any MD would ever have.
