Rockband ps2 Software Help

Okay. Well, I've been scanning around these forums for a couple of weeks now and thanks for everything but then again no thanks. Lets see. I have had Rockband for the ps2 since 2/27/08, still under warranty.

My problem is that i wont recognize the game disk. Nothing at all. Pop it in turn, it on, nothing. Auto Diagnosis? Failed. Any scratches or smudges on the game disk? Nope, not one looks brand spankin' new. Tried it on another console? Yep, and no it did not work.

Up until recently it was working fine. Well, somewhat fine. It has locked- up once and not loaded about four times, and now the most recent problem; it doesnt even recognze the disk.

So help. Please. I am just a fellow guitarist/bassist (depending on my mood) looking for help.

Try a new disc.....

I've been having the same problem... I turned the game on, it worked for 5 minutes and now when I try I get absolutely nothing. I've exchanged it 3 times now and have the same results with each new disk.

If anyone finds a solution to this please let me know.
