Confirmed bundle and individual?

Wikipedia says that you can buy it in a big bundle or individually. It doesn't have a source so I'm a bit skeptical. Please don't get mad at me if it's been asked or confirmed. I'm just wondering.

No Bundles are official yet. The only thing that is relatively certain is that you can buy the game alone, or a bundle which will most likely have 1 guitar, 1 drums, 1 mic, and 1 game. I think it is very possible there will be other bundles available such as drums and game, guitar and game, mic and game. They are not going to force you to buy the huge bundle, or just the game, there will probably be an in between.

Calm down, lol. I just don't think there will be two. I think I remember hearing about 1 guitar being in the bundle. Besides, I just think 2 guitars will make the bundle too expensive.

And to address the OP's question, you will essentially be able to buy whatever pieces you want, as they will all be sold seperately, in addition to whatever bundles they offer.

I actually hope there is only one guitar. I figure there are enough PS2 and 360 owners with GH guitars that would prefer to use one of those, instead of paying for a 2nd RB guitar.

A 2nd guitar would certainly raise the bundle price, and I'm beginning to wonder if the $200 price being quoted for a 1 guitar bundle is even right anymore. Part of me thinks the price was leaked to warm people up to the idea of paying a lot for this game, and now HMX/EA can adjust it up (within reason) or down, without really hurting themselves. (If it goes up by $20 or so, I doubt anyone will cancel their pre-order, and if it goes down at all, people will jump around).

For now, I'll cross my fingers that they're planning on some sort of razor blades business model, planning to make most of their money from the DLC.

I'm assuming it's 1 also. When I pre-ordered my bundle at Gamestop, the girl also told me 2 guitars, and I countered "No it's only 1 guitar" and she INSISTED it was 2. So whatever... I didn't argue...but I was told the same thing. :confused:

Yeah. I mean what if you want to throw your virtual band together and you never have a bassist!? Maybe this is why the price is still up in the air.

ok now don't quote me on this because I could be wrong (and according to my wife I frequently am) but I seem to remember during a 40 min interview video I watched the guy from HMX clearly saying the bundle would be 1 guitar, Drums, Mic and Game and that all the instruments would be purchasable seperatly for those that wish to start small and build up.

Of course...some people in the retail stores lie, or just don't really know what they are talking about. Some of them are just saying what they have been told to say. But, if you go to the respective store's website, the listing clearly states only 1 guitar in the bundle. You will be able to also buy the game and just 1 peripheral if you do not want all of them in the $200 bundle, as well.
