I have put together a poll format to gauge general approval/disapproval for a variety of bands...

These polls will work as follows: Simply mark all artists for whom you probably wouldn't download almost any of their songs... if you would download pretty much anything by all nine of the artists listed, check the last box.

I hope to continue with more polls like this in the future, so if there is a band you would like to see 'put to the test' on future polls, please leave a reply with the name of the band...

Iron Maiden: Honestly I dont know much about Maiden, just never got into them, but I have loved the two songs on RB, so I would def DL more.

Tool: H, Hooker with a Penis, Prison Sex (also honorable mention for Cold and Ugly)

Audioslave: Cochise, Show Me How to Live, I am the Highway

Guns N Roses: Mr Brownstone, Civil War, Sweet Child O Mine

Beatles: Revolution, Helter Skelter, Back in the USSR

ACDC: Lets Get It Up, You Shook Me All Night Long, Who Made Who

RHCP: Higher Ground, Can't Stop, Scar Tissue

Im not really big on Jimi or Metallica. I respect Jimi a lot, just never got into the music. Ive never really liked Metallica other than a couple of songs. I would DL Hero of the Day and The Unforgiven w/o a doubt

I'd definitely buy a good majority of songs by all of these bands. Especially Metallica, the Beatles, AC/DC, and Audioslave.

Who wouldn't buy AC DC their one of the best bands ever! And same goes for Iron Maiden, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Gun's & Roses, Metallica, and Red Hot Chili Peppers

am i the only one whos not a fan of the Beatles? i think their music is terrible and simple,dont flame,im not taking anything away from their contribution to Rock N Roll,i just dont think their music is up there with other groups.

I like the Beatles, but don't really consider myself a true fan. As for their music in RB, I'll pass. They are considered icons based on their lyrics and vocals, not their guitar/drum work. So vocalists would love it, but the rest of the band would likely be bored.

Not to necro this thread (although two linked threads were necro'd already which is what brought me to it), but I think this is the only group from the 6 where the "I would buy all of these" is actually greater than the votes against any individual artist.

George Harrison not an icon for his guitar work????I respect your opinion but come on!!!Sure they're known for great lyrics and vocals but all the parts together make the whole.Lennon/Mcartney had pretty good solo careers but nothing even remotely close to what they had as part of the whole.

I will have to pass on GnR because I only really like a few songs here and there and also AfD...

And I would pass on RHCP because I was never a big fan, but it does depend on what songs...
