Well, I've been seeing this new GH3 setlist, full of non-English speaking (I mean, singing) bands, and I thought: if rock is so much spread out over the world, why not making DLC with packs of songs made only by bands from some countries other than USA, UK, Canada and Australia (because all of them have the most well-known bands in the world, aside from Ireland that has U2 and Thin Lizzy), whether if they sing in English or not?

It would be like this:

German Pack: Could have Scorpions, Accept and Helloween, as well as Die Toten Hosen, Wir sind Helden and Sportfreunde Stiller.

Italian Pack: Could come with Lacuna Coil, Rhapsody of Fire, Ligabue, Bedroom Rockers and the like.

Dutch Pack: I can only recall Golden Earring and After Forever.

Swedish Pack: Could come with pretty much a lotta stuff, from Hellacopters to Hammerfall to Europe.

Japanese Pack: Could include Loudness, X Japan, EZO, L'arc~en~Ciel, Dir en grey...

Brazilian Pack: Could come with Sepultura, Angra, Legião Urbana, Raul Seixas, Paralamas do Sucesso...

Argentinian Pack: Like for the Dutch one, only two bands cross my mind right now, Rata Blanca and Bersuit Vergarabat (if that's really how it's written).

In short, possibilities are pretty much endless. What say you guys?

I like the idea.. I mean we already know that the Europe release is getting extra tracks from euro bands on disc and for DLC.. so it would be nice to see it available for the rest of the world

ive brought up this discussion a couple times. basically my suggestion would be to just open up DLC to all regions on a single server. hopefully they do not release country-specific tracks to their respective regions. sure it wont be as popular to those in other countries, but is there really anything to lose by offering it to a wider market?

some of us enjoy listening to a wide range of music, and others will be curious, and then you will have the hardcore players that beat every single track and will be looking for more material to play. it also increases the popularity of an artist that may have been unknown to all of us previously.

I would love to see music from all around the world. They need to get some Suzi Quatro stuff. That would kick ass!

I'm all for this pack, especially L'Arc. Route 666 FTW

I like those pack ideas, just let everyone get a taste. ;)

Who knows, maybe someone will discover a kickass band they haven't heard of before?

For good german bands look in this thread: http://www.rockband.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=2014

I would love Wir Sind Helden (Soundso), Beatsteaks (Jane Became Insane), Ärzte (Wie es geht or Zu Spät or 1/2 Lovesong), Kettcar (maybe Deiche or Landungsbrücken raus), Sportfreunde Stiller (Ein Kompliment) and Juli (Maybe Wir Beide or Stolen).

For Denmark it has to be Mew, but actually I would be absolutly pissed if only Denmark gets Mew, I love them, I want them.
