This (Rock Band) will be HMX at their best (I think). But, like music, like any form of entertainment, their best will only lead to their next games going downhill in quality

I don't agree...look at Irrational. They have been putting out great games for a long time now. They are no longer Irrational, and sold their soul to the 2k devil, though...so...they may suck after their latest release...Bioshock. But, I am off on a tangent.

I don't feel that Harmonix is going the route that Bioware has now taken(and I hope Irrational...err 2K Boston doesn' either)...they actually appreciate their fans. They interact with their fans, and that is cool to see.

But, well... the sooner the better I guess. :p

Still, at the moment, noone has the game, and everyone has to wait.

On the plus side, at least there'll probably a lot of DLC to choose from when it finally releases over here. I just hope the reason it's being put off till next year for Europe isn't so they can add region specific content, which will probably suck.

It's being delayed so they can make it more awesome in aproximate relation to PAL regions awesomeness. Rumors are that there will be 200% more face rocking potential; the drum peripheral will be a Neil Pert approved 20 piece; AC/DC will deliver it to your door; and hmxsean will be a playable moustache in the game.

On the plus side, at least there'll probably a lot of DLC to choose from when in it final releases over here. I just hope the reason it's being put off till next year for Europe isn't so they can add region specific content, which will probably suck.

HMX already confirmed that there will be region specific content on the Europe discs. But, I think it was Sean, said that none of the 40 songs of the US release will be replaced on the Europe version, we'll only get either some other county specific Bonus songs instead of some of the Bonus songs on the US version or some more songs on the disc, and those will be country specific songs.
