View Full Version : Hammer-on and pull-off reloading fixed with Rock Band?

I remember in Guitar Hero 1 and 2 there was an issue in the game where hitting replay after the song sometimes did not reload a hammer-on or pull-off in the song. I know it was brought to the attention of a Harmonix employee who said that it could be fixed for the 360 version of GH2 and "any theoretical sequels." Is it okay in Rock Band then?

Here's the thread from ScoreHero for reference:

Well if it was brought to the attention of Harmonix it is most likely dealt with and fixed. I personally having played GH I and II have never heard or seen this problem, it's pretty weird, did this happen to a lot of people?

I don't think it happened to too many people. But I've had it happen to me. Not on GH1 though. Haha, I never used HO/PO on GH1.

Weird. I've played at least 100 hours of GH 1 and 2 on PS2 and never had that problem or heard of b4. That'd suck. But I imagine its fixed.

Wouldn't that be the kinda thing QA would pick up? i dont even wanna think about how many times they went to replay. lol

They fixed it for GH2 360 and GH80s, I'm pretty sure it'll be fixed for this one.

Haha, I never used HO/PO on GH1.

Me neither.
I just couldn't get used to it, having played GHII first.

That's all I needed to know. Thanks!

This happened to me and I thought it was just me but apparently it was actually a real problem. I can remember it happening on Jordan and the Shadows Fall song. Huh...well in any case it's good to know it's fixed and that it wasn't me. lol

Oof.... Bet it sucked on Jordan.... How many HO/PO notes weren't HO/PO?

Well it wasn't that notes were switched from ho/po's to regular notes, it's just that when you hit a certain note in the chain of ho/po's it wouldn't register it, and it would break the chain and frustrate me cause I knew I was hitting the button. This is when I was trying to 5 star the song and I needed all the points out of the early sections I could get.
