Well being laid off for the last couple of weeks I haven't been keeping a watch on some of the movies I owned but yet haven't seen yet.
War with Jet Li and Jason Stathom. Was an awesome flick and Jet Li once again prooved to be outstanding! The plot was good and the Twist at the end is great!
Shoot em up was excellent as well. The whole movie is shootouts and the soundtrack was excellent in the scenes. Somewhat of a suprise I actually want to call this a comedy because Clive Owen being the brit's as they are are smartasses and he delivered some very bad timely puns. Paul Giamatti was a nice villan in the film. The resourcefulness of the shootout scenes were top notch.
Both highly recommended.
P.S Not really intended to be a movie review thread but as I sit here waiting for my daughters bus to pull up id figure Id post a little something.

I have to agree. It's a good action flick with a neat twist you don't see too much of in films of this genre. I love both Jet Li and Stathom so that might make me a bit biased heh.

I was able to watch Hitman last night as well but fell asleep. I was on a 4 movie marathon night. I liked what I saw so far, but fell asleep in the first 30 minutes. I heard some mixed reviews of it.
But as an avid player of the game series I hope hes not a softie as some other badasses in games to movies are.

Yea Shoot 'Em Up is great.
Hitman kinda sucks. He is in fact a softie (compared to the game) and that's why it sucks.

I have to join in the chorus of praise for Shoot'Em Up as well--I was not disappointed with that DVD purchase, that's for sure :D I actually bought SEU along with Smokin' Aces (amazingly sweet imho) so I enjoyed a throughly action-packed evening that time.<br><br><br><br><br><font size=1>[[iTunes]] <i>"The Man Who Sold The World"</i> by <i>David Bowie</i>

The Condemned wasn't that bad at all. I actually found myself not wanting to leave the tv set. The Island, I dunno. haven't seen it.
