I haven't read all of the postings yet so some of these may have already been suggested but here are my ideas for what songs would be good additions. I tried to pick songs that would be fun for each player and not necessarily too difficult to sing.

I have played the demo at the rock band tour. I have one better for you. It is in the game. I'm heading back over to the bus to play the game again. Its so so much fun. There is a real honest review of gameplay in one of these forums. I personally do not own a ps2 or xbox so was not lucky enough to enjoy the greatness of GH and GH 2, except for at parties. With that said, I do enjoy every instrument, but the drums and vocals are some of the most fun.

Oh and amazing picks to both players! Yes yes yes! we need so much more eagles. That should be a full CD to DLC. A greatest hits of their music!
