Ok, so I had a dream about Rock Band last night, and it was KICKASS. Well, sort of. So it starts off, although I'm in Ireland, with an opportunity to playtest RB. I think to myself 'awesome.' I go into the building that I've been invited to, and I see the setup. A huge HDTV, guitar, bass, mic, and, the crème de la crème: the drums. Now these were'nt the ordinary drums. They were like terry bozzio's kit, in RB form. Before I start playing, who walks in but Neil Peart. Neil god damn Peart. He sits down behind the drums and switches on Tom Sawyer. ( on expert, naturally).
So he begins. Off to a bumpy start. I think to myself 'okay he's neil peart, he'll start really rockin in a minute' While I wait for that, I look backstage. Who do I see but almost every famous drummer I know of queuing up to try out RB. One by one, I watch these greats epicly fail. I think 'ok, time to show them how it's done.'
I sit on the stool. Tom Sawyer stars, and boom!!! The god damn thing crashes. Then all of the great drummers walk out of the building, and it's just me and HMX left. Then they all walk out. Just when I think I'd better leave, I find that I can't get up. I'm stuck to the damn stool! I thought that I was alone in the building, but oh no. I wasn't. A spotlight comes on and shines down on front of me, on none other than HMX Sean. 'Love machine' starts playing. He does that dance that he does with the shirt rolled up. He doesn't stop. Ever.
