So I was watching VH1 and they were doin the greatest songs of the 80's and I thought I'd make this thread.... Let's start from the 70's...

Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin, 1971
FreeBird - Lynyrd Skynyrd, 1974
just to get things goin....

60s... Jimi Hendrix "All Along the Watchtower" (well all the other bands must have been on holiday, cos it sucked then, in comparison to now IMHO)

70s... All good bands were on holiday

80s... Most of the good bands were STILL on holiday, but a bit of Guns n Roses tided us over.

90s... THEY (the good) ALL CAME BACK FROM HOLIDAY YAY. Radiohead for defo, I can't pick one definining track, but just listen to OK Computer, start to finish, its perfection.

2000s.... hey some went on holiday, some stayed on. A bit of Foo Fighters or Muse can be added here.

90's
RATM- Freedom, Sleep Now In The Fire

At the Drive-In- One Armed Scissor, Chanbara
