Rock Band Gamers Anonymous, I have a problem.
My Wii is... sucking atm. You know, I have Resi Evil 4 + Zelda (traded in Super Monkey Ball, SSX Blur, Red Steel, all got bored), two good games which one day I may be bothered to complete.
But thats the problem. My Wiimote and 360 Guitar + Controller all sit next to each other. I'm either grabbing the controller for more BioShock or the guitar for GH2. And then those rare moments when I grab the wiimote, its for another speedrun on Super Mario Bros or Mario 64.
I look to the future... Metroid 3 isn't looking good, I mean I didn't like the gameplay of old but the WiFi on Hunters was great - 3 is one player though. Mario Galaxy looks ok, but will I still be grabbing for my VC of Mario 64?
I'm doing another mass trade in of some games, (though i'm holding on to my current Wii games).
So, I ask, have you got any recommendations so my Wii isn't gathering dust... I hear Warioware is good, but I've only played Touched! on the DS

We've had to wait for AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES in the UK. Its out on the 14 September and you got it in April (I think). Ridiculous.
But, it may be good. I want lifespan, because games are too expensive for me to just buy a game I'm gonna trade in the next week (like Bioshock, but in essence for 25 hours of gameplay getting all the achievements and doing different difficulties it was only £5)

The Godfather: Blackhand Edition was great.. a little short, though..
Warioware is also a good choice.
Oh, and Trauma Center: Second Opinion is awesome as well.

How long is that though? I need proper length to keep me going.

Yh, but with Touched where there was only 120 minigames I was still replaying the minigames and it seems like a good one for the mates. I mean, I haven't touched Wii Sports for AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSS SSS but when a mate comes round first thing is a bit of tennis and golf.

I'm not so desperate for Wii games that I'm gonna pay extra for a game+guitar I could just play with my X-Plorer lol

WarioWare is a great mp game and once you beat it you unlock a bunch of cool multiplayer modes. So if youre gonna be playing with buddies then definetly get it. It is really fun

It wasn't super long (I beat it in a few days, but I played A LOT), but there is still more stuff to do after you beat the story. If I remember correctly, there's over 20 hours.

I dont own a single Wii game , but own the console. In my opinion, none are worth BUYING. I will rent the game and return it.
So far I have played and beat :
Warioware: Beat it in a day or so. not really good for multiple play throughs.
Super Paper Mario: Best game so far , IMO, beat it in 24 hour played time (roughly 3 days real time).
Rayman: Meh.. pretty boring game, not worth buying
Monkeyballs: Couldnt get into the game, rented and returned.
Zelda: Couldnt get into the game, quit after 3 hours of playing. Got stuck and said F it.
RE 4: Very nice.
Trauma Center: OK game, need a steady hand and patience for this one. Beat it in 2 days, has SOME replay value but that's mainly just to get faster and better. They are making another one of these games releasing end of this year maybe?
Games I am looking forward to on the Wii:
Super Smash brothers brawl
GH3
Brunswick bowling (Just released last week however I dont have the money to purchase it yet.)
I cannot think of any other games at this point that i have played, I am certain I am missing some.

When I still wanted a Wii Trauma Center and Elebits were all I was intrested in,then I realized they were all I was intrested in untill No More Heroes and Day of Disaster and that's all I was intrested in overall so got a PS3 instead. :p Point is try Trauma Center and Elebits.

Just get Super Paper Mario when it comes out there. It's probably the best Wii game that I've played and I own Zelda and Trauma Center. I have rented Warioware (don't buy it unless you plan on playing MP), Rayman, Elebits, Monkey Ball, and then lots of other more forgettable games.
I never use my Wii, but Super Paper Mario pulled me away for a brief time. I didn't finish it because I'd rather play my 360, but I put more time into it than any other Wii game. It's sad that the Wii gets used more as a GC for Animal Crossing when my girlfriend plays.

I don't get this talk about beating Warioware in a day. Warioware is subpar as a single player game (and it's not really meant to be, except to unlock stuff). It becomes fun with friends. In the same vein, Mario Party is fun with friends, even if that franchise is starting to get a little old.
RE4 is worth revisiting to finish, as is Zelda. Metroid Prime 3 is really great, and I don't miss the online, just as I don't miss online in Bioshock.
Overall, there have been a lack of quality games for the Wii, but I thought the same about the 360's first year. Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros is on the horizon, along with a few others (Kart, Zack and Wiki, etc). Hopefully 3rd parties will quit throwing cheap crap at the Wii for a quick buck and give it some quality games.

Its subpar in multiplayer as well though. My friends and I played it for a week, its the same games over and over, beat the multiplayer version as well, we all got bored with it.

LOL we've done it both ways ;) Smoking is more fun, but takes more out of ya in that game.
