I Need Help Changing/deleting My User Name

I would MUCH rather change it to my PSN name seeing as "Unfazed" isn't the band name me and my buddies went with after all. If there was a way to change my username, or even just to delete my account all together (so I can make a new one that would sucessfully link to my game,) this would be an easy fix. I beg a mod for response :(

You can only link to one account at one time.

Sure, but how do you delete the old account? I'd kinda like to know the answer, too. I mean, you can't link to the game with a new account until you get rid of the old one, right?

Right now, you can't. We may look into that as a future feature but don't quote me on that.

Really appreciate the input guys. To be honest I wasn't counting on getting any responses at all. Lots of forums have non-existant mods sometimes. And Derek I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem. I really hope the option to delete an account will eventually be available.

Although my problem is slightly different. I want to make a new account with this username - ashers2ashers - as that is the xbox live account I use all the time. Before I had my own xbox I used the gamertag Ashers67 with a windows live ID I use for everything, so when I registered my account as ashers2ashers with that windows live ID it automatically linked to Ashers67 data when I linked my game, so now I have to create a new account with the windows live ID of ashers2ashers but with a username on here that will be slightly different :mad:

You currently cannot delete your Rockband.com account, but you can unlink your gamertag from it and create a new Rockband.com account to link to. Hope that helps.

If you un-link from your present profile, then you can re-register under your new preferred usernsme (as long as it's not already taken). You will have to use another email address, as I have already done this. I deleted my band and started a new one. I also re-registered using a different username. When I linked to this new account my old band and info re-appeared. SO, I have no idea how to get my new band info updated. Even on the game when I changed the band name, the old name is still etched in the memory. The name change is not taking affect over-all. Does anyone have a clue? (Wii)
