I need a new guitar

I've been using the standard RockBand guitar now since the game came out, and like i just dont like the feel of it, but the thing is i dont know what guitars are like good, i mean redoctance ones are great but they only work for guitar hero, anyone got suggestions?

well, the only real solution i can think of is to go out and buy a new guitar, but the problem is that most of them only work for either guitar hero, or RockBand, but i have a TAC guitar and they work for either game, plus they're new guitars are coming out and they are for PS3 and are backwards compatible

If you're on 360, I can't recommend the GH3 controller enough. It's the best one I've used.

So, the TAC guitar works for GH3 and RB?

I love the wireless les paul, but the buttons love dying out on me, and i've tried the paper trick, which has worked for a good two months, but now the buttons are dying out on me again :( Impossible for me to do FCs.


edit : All Guitars Are Fully Compatible with Guitar Hero I, II, III for PlayStation 2 and ROCK BAND for PlayStation 2.

Meh... none of those TAC guitars work for xbox 360.

Ditto RagAndBone...I'm using the Fender Strat right now simply for the solo buttons on GGAHT, but for regular use, I'll go with the GHIII Les Paul. The only downside is having to change batteries...lol.

Didn't notice (if you did post it) what system you are on, but if you are on a 360...

I have the guitar that came with GHII (Explorer), but as ugly as it is and being wired, it has been very reliable. Both my daughter and I have one that we got for the launch of GHII on the 360 and they are holding up extremely well. They get far more use then the RB one.

If you are on the PS3, well, that is another long and twisted tale...

does a RB guitar work on GH3 for the xbox 360? Cause i know the GH3 guitars work on RB just didnt know if it works the other way around. thanks!
