So I'm an XBL silver member (not that I know if this is the issue) and whenever I try and connect to the Rock Band server (updating my scores, checking the leaderboard in-game, etc...) my game freezes. I have no problem with the new Music Store in game. I have tried this both at home and at school, two different internet connections, and it doesn't work. The strange thing is, back when the game first came out, I had no issue connecting to the server.
Does anyone know why this is going on? Or better yet, how can I fix this? Thanks in advance!

I had some strange issues with Rock Band claiming to be signing in to the PSN network while it was already clearly connected prior to me launching the game. It required me to quit the game and restart.
That was last night and I haven't had a chance to check any further since.

Im having sorta the same problem for the PS3. I can get online just fine, as I downloaded a few songs from the PSN last night. But if I try to go to the new RB store or check the leaderboards it tries to connect to Rock Central Server and the connection fails. So Im online, just cant get online for RB or anything related to it. What gives? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely a router problem. The correct ports need to be opened. If you're on ps3 check your NAT type, if it isn't type 1 or 2 you have a router port problem. To check the NAT type just run a connection test in network settings.
If this is your problem here's a helpful guide on how to fix it for the PS3. http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=psnetwork&thread.id=116102
To the OP, sorry I don't know anything about the 360.

NAT might be the issue but I doubt it. As I understand it (I could be wrong), your NAT refers to how you can connect to other machines online i.e. for multiplayer online play. In order to check NAT on 360, run a connection test and you want your NAT to be Open. You do not want it to be moderate or strict as that restricts your ability to connect to others online.

What about if you're on an XBox like me? I can get into the in-game music store fine, but nothing else. Any thoughts for the 360?
