I have looked but I don't see this covered. The update applied to rockband cashes the songs so they load faster. This is nice, however, some of my content is only available while i'm online due to having to replace my xbox. The content gets cashed and is available but will not play unless i'm online. This is a serious problem when a random song is picked that I do not have the DRM for while offline. The song will not load and the xbox just sits there trying to load it. This is a serious issue when playing band world tour offline. Perhaps an option to recash songs when needed would be a nice improvement.

This isn't really a problem with the update, but more a problem with Microsoft's DRM. Before this update, the songs you couldn't play just weren't listed at all in the game.

I would suggest always being online, if that's an option, or trying to contact Microsoft to get the songs relicensed on your new Xbox.

I realize this is kind of a DRM issue. However, before the upate the songs were not part of the list offline. Now they are all listed and some wont play offline. A simple recash option would stop this issue. I am sure that I am not the only person that will have to replace their xbox. Some people may choose to upgrade as well. When they take it to a friends house, or visit relatives without internet access the multi-player game is pointless after this update. Since microsoft has no intention of revising their crazy DRM policies, all I am asking is for an option to recash the song list.

I have tried talking to Microsoft to relicense the songs as you suggested. However, they refuse to help me and treat me like a criminal. When my first xbox broke my brother offered to take it and give me one he had repaired. This worked fine for a few months and broke again, so I traded back for the repaired first one. When it broke again I just bought a new one. Microsoft wont help me because I didn't use their repair process.
