Xbox Package?

I will be buying the 360 FOR rockband so i was wondering if anybody thinks that there will be a bundle of the Xbox360 and rockband together--cheapening the price of both.

If it were to happen, it would have to be retailer-specific (i.e. Costco or Wal-Mart deciding on their own to package the game and console). But I haven't seen many bundles of games and 360's at all, so I don't see why it would start with Rock Band.

Because Rock Band is also on the Ps3, I don't see this happening. That would just cause a war.

There might even be some sort of agreement with EA and M$ and Sony so that they can't do individual promotions that are console specific.

Just because you can't buy them together doesn't mean you can't get good deals on both seperately. Target.com currently has a sale going for $315 for the premium 360. If you don't catch it, techbargains.com promotes deals from all over the web, with the xbox 360 showing up regularly. Various game websites also appear in there if you have a bit of patience.
