Or maybe not, that's why I need your help guys!!:(
Note: I will not mention the name of my ISP for obvious reasons.
Here's the deal: I have a broadband connection of 1MB which is a pretty decent speed, but I was playing WarHawk yesterday and was trying to host my own game, before this the game's system does a little conncection test to determine your download and upload speeds and it seems that my upload speed is only 128KB!!! I had not realized that before. So at the most I can host a game of 4 players max, that's terrible!!!
So my question is: Is 128KB rigth?? I think at least it should be half my download speed.
I want to give my ISP a piece of my mind, but I want your opinion first. I don't want to call them up and make an ass of myself.

128 sounds reasonable. Upload speed is not usually anywhere near download speed. ISPs assume you are mostly downloading (surfing), they don't want you running your own servers, so they configure upload speed much lower than download.
My speed is 1.7 mbps down, and only 384k up.

Yep, you will never get an upload speed close to your download speeds. It varies from ISP and plan. You might want to call them (politely) and see what they offer for upload speeds and if there is a plan where you can get more.
Or do what I do and join games instead of host them

You do need to pay very close attention to what they are saying too. Is it DSL? Sounds like a DSL provider.
HOWEVER, 128k is NOT KILOBYTES, it is KILOBITS, which is 1/8th the size of a kilobyte.
On my connection, my DOWN is 6.1Mbps, UP is 320kbps. That means 6.1 Megabits download speed, 320 kilobits upload speed. You have to divide those numbers by 8 to find your BYTE speed. This is why it's called your "bitrate" - not "byterate".
My point is, if you are getting 128k, you're probably on a DSL and getting a 16 kilobyte upload speed.
Does that make sense? Switch providers, as that sounds like Verizon to me, and they are rancid.
