Rock Band Bundle/Special Edition?

I know nothing is official or announced yet, and I haven't quite seen anything relating to this, but here goes:

I am personally getting the bundle. $200 is a pretty good chunk of change. I was wondering if there would be any sort of swag/goodies that will be included in the bundle? A T-Shirt, music poster, making of DVD (all the above :P), or other things.

I was also wondering if there would be some sort of deal made for those that have the bundle pre-ordered to get a discount on DLC for a limited time (as in, include a special code within the packaging you can enter to get discounted prices on DLC, or a free DLC album, etc.... just thinking of ideas).

I am just wondering if the RB Bundle will inlcude anything special with it, or if it will just be the instruments and game, and that is that. I know, I can wait and within the next few weeks my question will probably be answered and what not... but...

What would you like to see in the RB Bundle and what would you like to have there be to make it a "special edition" so to speak.

That's true. one can always hope. I am hoping HMX will add some cool stuff to "The Bundle" as a sign of appreciation for all those that have it pre-ordered. :)

i like your thinking. from what ive observed though, pre-order bonuses are usually store-specific. meaning store A might offer you swag for pre-ordering with them. store B offers you something else for pre-ordering with them. store C takes your money and runs and doesnt even have it for you on launch day lol

i like the idea of DLC discout as well, but with multi-platforms i dont know how that would be possible.

Oh, and to add to the thread, I'll be so happy just having the bundle in my grubby hands that anything above and beyond the instruments and game will probably be overlooked for a few days anyway. Still, anything you mentioned would be pretty sweet.

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, it'd be pretty sweet for a free DLC song or two for us 360 owners IF our bundle does not include a wireless guitar and the PS3 one does AND both bundles are the same price. Not that a wire is that big of a deal for me, but it would be very rokk-like way for Harmonix to even out the overall value of the bundles.

xfMike, I'd be happy with only the game and peripherals, but any free schtuff would be..orgasmic. Kind of like how <a href= "http://www.redoctane.com/guitarhero3xbox360elitebundle.html">RedOctane</a> is shipping Guitar Hero III pre-orders with game&controller, extra faceplate, t-shirt, keychain, 2" wide custom strap, and freakin' sweet dual-guitar gig bag.

Ooh I sure hope it comes with extra goodies. I've seen the RB shirts the Harmonix crew wears every once in a while, I'd love one of those (in WHITE....:D). Or a making-of DVD would be really swell too. And yea, hopefully the 360 version will have a little extra something to make the value even out, because I personally am still a little bitter about the whole wire thing (my dorm is a closet, the wires are already all over the place..). But I'm sure Harmonix has our backs.
