its a matter of opinion. i think the mirrors truth sounds great. i already admitted i havent heard any of the early stuff. the 4 i picked are gamer friendly. people that dont listen to metal could and possibly would get into it, therefore buying it, therefore making RB more money

The only reason you suggested them is because you aren't familiar with the bands catelogue of music. The songs you suggested wouldn't be more gamer friendly, they wouldn't be more friendly to the average non In Flames fan and they wouldn't be more friendly to the die hard In Flames Fans either.

The Jester Race, Whoracle, Colony, and Clayman (to me) are In Flames. Nothing beats old school In Flames. Im sorry but Take This Life is to In Flames like St. Anger is to Metallica.

Listen to that guitar after the intro (:30) its just pure Gothenburg melodic death metal. The solo is simply amazing too. Old In Flames is just amazing.

Great tune. Saw them live in '99 at Metalfest (their first US show/Colony tour)... that was f'n incredible. Sound wasn't that great, but no one cared.

When I read the part in your post about the solo after the 30 second mark I knew it had to be December Flower lol.

Take This Life isn't as bad as St. Anger to Metallica, its more like an Until it Sleeps because its still a good song, its just a completely different sound...

I do love old In Flames more than the new stuff though. My Favorite songs are Goliaths Disarm Their Davids and Jotun.
