Seriously, this game is about some suicidal kid who goes to a school where everyone wants to die. Then, at night, he fights demons by shooting himself in the head with a magic bullet that releases good demons or something to fight with him...

Oh my gosh - shooting yourself in the head for an attack! I don't care if it's emo or whatever. Seeing that made me laugh so much. I hope that game comes to the US, I really want to play that at least once. I thought it was awesome - deliciously absurd.

Quite weird, the fact that he shoots himself to attack things, doesn't make too much sense, but actually looks really cool, and it seems it isn't that bad of a game.

Yeah, I have friends who hated the Persona series who are gushing over Persona 3.

First time someone linked me to a video the main character was using a fairly powerful attack, and when he pulled out the gun and his head snapped back like JFK or something, I lost it.

Granted, it was three in the morning, but yeah. I laughed a lot.

It's been out for 2 weeks. I rented it since I liked the first two so much,it's pretty good. It's more anti-emo since you're encouraged to join clubs,help people and do the right thing not cry in the corner and cut yourself while listening to some of the worst music ever made.

Slipknot's Vol. 3 cd- Emo cause they have slow songs and sing about actual emotion

Dragon Ball Z- Emo cause Vegeta wears tight pants

The Sims- Emo cause if your Sim is unhappy the sulk around all day

Dead from Mayhem- Emo cause he killed himself

Basically, the point I'm trying to make is that 1. You can attribute the quality of being emo to almost anything and 2. Shut up. No joke, this is the dumbest claim I've ever seen. Not only is the Persona series one of the best among console RPG's, but it also has so little to do with the "emo" subculture it's not even funny. Play the games and that'll make more sense...especially considering that the games have been around long before emo was anything more than a style of music.

yup lol, That's me, emo to the ****ingcore. In fact, I was making my hair do that lil flippy thing and putting on my thick rimmed glasses while I typed that lol.

Actually I just have a special little annoyance about using emo to describe..well..anything. It's a stupid music genre because all it essentially means is emotional music...which is about 90% of all music. There are plenty of other genres that most "emo" bands could be put under. And it's really stupid to describe something nonmusic related as emo because that doesn't even begin to make sense.

I would agree with you on your last post, but you have to realize. Good game or not, it's emo. I dont just go around to anyone wearing tight pants and call them emo.

I refused to believe emo existed for about two years, because nobody that ever used the term could give me a solid definition. I thought it was just some derrogitory term people used to make fun of other kids in high school because they weren't clever enough to come up with real insults.
