Anybody know if i can use the Rock band controllers with GH2 (360)

Ive searched everywhere.Of course i am aware that nobody can give me a definitive answer to that question.But what have you guys heard?.Any chance i can make use of the two guitars that come with rockband? Esentially it is almost the same electrically as the GH2 guitar (ive examined the guitar and to my knowledge it has the same buttons just a different design).

I would assume that you would get the basic functionality of the guitars for GH2. Of course I doubt the hammer ons would work, not to mention all the effects. Right now, it's a tossup.

But you know what happens when you assume, though.:D

Haha,yeah.i Hope it is though.It would add a good lets say "extra value" to owners looking to get an extra guitar.I also think that the rock band guitar design is superb.They should use the same design for GH3 and try their best to make it compatible between each other (ex. Use RockBand guitar with GH2,RockBand and GH3).I think its safe to say that it would make an excellent selling point for RockBand and GH3,while encouraging new users to buy all three =D.(ex. you buy rock band,then you buy GH2 and GH3 because you have two controllers for multiplayer).Lets call it a "reel em' in" selling strategy.

Unfortunatley no one can give a definitive answer cause no one has a RB controller to try... And HMX aint saying either. It sux to sit around and wonder about something that is so far away from being on the shelves.

HMX has statede they would like for all controllers to be compatible with all games.... But it isn't entirely up to them.... And no one else is talking.

I know but for most current users it would be a HUGE selling point.Heck id buy it just for that.
