Rockband Guitar with GH II and III?

If I bought the Rockband game and Guitar and then bought Guitar Hero II all on Xbox 360 would I be able to use the Rockband guitar on Guitar Hero II and Guitar Hero III? I know the GhIII Guitar works on Rockband but how about Rockbands working with GH II and III?

It's not confirmed, but most likely yes, it will work with GHII/GHIII

The GHIII controller working on Rock Band is not confirmed either.
