Unable to link account

Hey all i signed up for the site yesterday but after reading all the threads and doing everything they say i still cannot get my code linked it get the

* One or both of the required fields contains incorrect information.
* You must enter a valid PlayStation® Network ID and Website Code to link your to PlayStation® 3.

Error now i have waited 24hrs after playing online and tried i have also change the 0 to an O and the 8 to a B and the V to a U and i have had no luck can someone please help me.

I've been having the same problem for more than a week now.
I have played online solo games and still I get the same error!
The code that the game is giving me is quite easy to follow so I don't know why it wont let me log in! This is frustrating...

If you read through the main thread, located here: http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32117, there are several people who've had to wait quite a bit before their codes would push through.

It's not the best thing you want to hear, but please be patient and it should work. We are aware of the issue and we are working to resolve it in the meantime!
