Hey guys, though I've recently started posting here, this is by no means the first forum I've been a member of. However, I have two very stupid, "n00bish" questions/issues with this forum. Any help would be appreciated.
1. How do I exactly set my signature? I go into my User CP, then Edit Signature, but it just forwards me to the Edit profile page... the page where you list some of your favorite things about you (Movies, Music, Rock, Not Rock, etc...) for your personal page (or your personal blog so to speak).
I was wondering if I am overlooking something, or if it is just a small, yet annoying glitch on this forum. Or, are signatures only allowed to those members with a certain minimum post count (the same way avatars are "earned" on select forums).
2. I live in the Eastern Time Zone, or GMT - 5 if I were to set the time zone correctly in the User CP. However, whenever I choose EST as my Time Zone, all the posts are several hours off, and in order for me to get the right time relative to me, I must choose GMT + 5... which I think is somewhere over in Europe or India???
I was wondering if this too is a glitch on these forums... as I said, whenever I put GMT - 5 EST, the time displayed on the forums is wrong... so to get the correct time to display I need to set my time zone as being GMT + 5.
Any help would be appreciated, and sorry if these questions seem silly... especially the signature one... but every time I try to edit my signature, it just sends to to my profile page... and none of those fields are actually your signature (duh).
Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the reply. I found a thread (still on the first page :o ) that gave me the answer... I remember reading through the n00b guide it mentioned, however I must've over looked the part where it described how to add your signature. Oh well, simply mistake.
I am still curious about the Time Zone issue though, kind of odd.

Go to your User CP, and click on "edit options"
It's under Date&Time Settings.

I think you misunderstood me Claudius.
When I enter in my Time Zone (Eastern), the forum displays the wrong time. However, in order for me to see the correct time (in relation to my Time Zone) I need to select another Time Zone.
Example being: Eastern Time Zone is GMT - 5... in order for the forum to display the correct time for me, I have to set the Date & Time options to GMT + 5.
Not that big of a deal... but just really odd.

I've been on these forums for two months and I've had this problem too, but I always ignored it until now but for me to get the correct time also EST I had to punch in the time zone of our favorite country Abu Dhabi.

Okay, your sig. is whatever is said right above your picture on your profile. Simple as that.
About time zones, can't change it from what I know. You just get used to it after a while. At the bottom of every page, that's not the "main" RockBand.com page, there is a little timestamp.

I was wondering that same thing.. but I never knew that GMT + 5 worked..
All I want is for it to show the right time.. it just bugs me when it's not. Haha.

Back in April/May there was a time when the Time Zones were correct, those were the good ol' days. Then one day the system went crazy. I dont remember exactly when it happened but in one of the old Rock Blogs I somehow managed to post b4 Sean did.
I think that was also the time the 349 people were all online (the record for most users)... but there was never that many ppl here at once.
