I just got my 4th replacement drum kit in today and i noticed something was different right off the bat. The overall design of the drum kit looked different especially underneath the pads. I also noticed there wasn't a serial number on this one to let me know what type of drum kit it was.

At first i was excited, the pads were a lot tighter and seemed to register hits by barely blowing on one of the pads but after playing a few songs i realized something was wrong. This new drum design is having the same problem the very first series of drums were having once you start to drum roll the pads stop reading notes the faster you hit them.

I cant tell what serial they are because as i said they don't have a serial number on the bottom where all the other drum kits do but has any else seen these new crappy designs?

Good lord! Four replacement drum sets? What the hell are you doing to those poor things?!

I believe it's Return Merchandise Authorization, which you are required to get when you need your equipment replaced.

Sounds like you've gone from the EL's to the QM model to me. The serial number should be on the bottom of the bit with the control buttons on it if it's a QM set. The EL's have it between two of the pads (red and yellow from memory).

Just give up hope before it's too late. Trust me.
