So guys, what do you think of Jam Sessions?

I think it's awesome and I will get it. Yeah, I can also play guitar and you can only play chords with Jam Sessions but it's still awesome. A guitar in your pocket. ;)

For everyone who doesn't know what kind of game this is: You assign chords to the digi pad and have a string on the touchscreen. So you only need to hold up or down or right or left or even between right and up or something and strum on the touchsreen and you can play whole songs. You can of course also hold down the L button and have access to 8 other chords, so 16 alltogether.

Here are some cool videos:

Radiohead - No Surprises

It is a really cool game, if I didn't have to buy a DS in order to get it, I would have it right now, I've been spending too much money this year already, so I'm going to have to let this one pass me by for now. Still looks awesome, the songs that are on it are all pretty good, and its like having a smaller more portable guitar at all times, so awesome.

Actually, I don't even know what songs are on it, but well, you can practially play every song if you just know the chords. And to find the chords just look at ultimate-guitar.com

EDIT: Just looked at the tracklist, and wow, Coldplay and Death Cab!!! I need this game! Also, the one and only good song by Avril Lavinge (For real!) - I'm with you.

The best thing about the game is the little amp that comes with it (see it here (http://kotaku.com/gaming/wee-bundle/jam-sessions-bundle-includes-a-real-amp-295724.php)), I may get this just for that. I was quite suprised to see a decent track list, Beck, Nirvana, Johny Cash!

Oh wow that is so cool, I wonder how good the amp sounds, probably a lot better than the DS speakers. I might just have to shell out some cash to get this game, it looks like a ton of fun. I'll write a bunch of my own songs.

Here's a video of the amp in action, it looks really awesome. (http://kotaku.com/gaming/look-out-kid/jam-sessions-rocks-my-world-263047.php)

Yeah, the amp looks cool, but Wikipedia says that the version with the amp comes out Nov. 1st, but the "normal" version comes out September 11th. So depends on how long you want to wait for the game just to have the amp.

Oh, and Paska, having a DS will be worthwhile. Zelda - Phantom Hourglass will be awesome as well.

I hadn't seen that video before. I was wondering if it has it's own power supply or if it draws power from the ds. Battery life would be awful if that was the case.

Just some guy who has the japanese version of the game and posted the videos on Youtube. But he's not bad, right?

nah i was just wondering cuz back in my day in game voices were impossible on handheld consoles. not too familiar with the current generation of handheld gaming so i didn't know if the singer was just some douchebag singing over the songs in the game or if the singer was coming from the game

It was the one who played the game that had sung.

Although I'm wondering if the tracks that are in the game have vocals? Does somebody know?
