Possibly more than one song per artist in the game?

I haven't seen much talk about this, but there's going to be two Queens of the Stone Age songs in the game. One is the announced Go with the Flow and the other is unknown (but definitely from their new album). I'm assuming that only Go with the Flow will be in the main setlist and the song from their new album with just be one of the bonus songs. I think that this is probably unique to QotSA, but maybe there will be another artist or two in the game with two songs instead of one. Does this indicate more popular songs in the bonus section possibly?

I don't think there will be any artists with more than one song in the game, I think that announcement of two QotSA songs was for Guitar Hero III not Rock Band.

I don't expect any bands/artists to have more than one song on the main 40 track list, we'll see a lot from them from DLC obviously. There are too many bands that should be in the game for them to allow two songs from one band. Unless they use one as a bonus song, but even then, it is unlikely I think.

Yeah, they'll be a song as a master track, but most definitely it will be a bonus track.

Ok, my mistake then. I still assume then it will be a bonus song, since I doubt they would put two songs from the same artist in the main setlist. Either way this could mean that we may see multiple songs from bands in a similar fashion. I mean I know the Foo Fighters have a new album coming out, perhaps we'll see a new song from them as well?

Another interpretation of this is that the song will be in Rock Band, as DLC, maybe the entire album is DLC, who knows, that could be cool, although I would prefer Songs for the Deaf as DLC over anything else. Although I do like a few songs off of it, 3's & 7's being one of them.

I really hope it's not 3's and 7's, I don't need any more duplicate tracks between the two games lol. But thats my only reason for not wanting it.

the title track has a pretty good riff in it. as does into the hollow, suture up your future, river in the road, run pig run, running joke, sick sick sick (ok maybe not a good riff but a badass song), etc

ugh. I sure as hell hope there's not more than one per artist.. it's annoying having repeat artists as it is. theres plenty of great artists out there that deserve to be in the game..

save the repeats for DLs.. if people want it they will buy.

I hope they don't replace Go With The Flow... it sounded like a fun song. This is one of the few cases where I wouldn't mind two songs from the same band, or.. better yet... DLC.
