I heard in an interview that RB is going to utilize the DLC feature to new and upcoming artists, and if what Alex said was true, than we could definitely see some awesome music in RB.
A band I'd like to see the most are The Burden Brothers, a Dallas-based rock supergroup formed by the lead singer of The Toadies, and the drummer of Reverend Horton Heat. If you haven't heard of them, and are a fan of either one of those bands, I suggest checking them out.
...and a song that NEEDS to be in RB is "Red Morning Light" by Kings of Leon. IT HAS HAS COWBELL. Plus, KoL are friggin' awesome.

I don't know if Ted Leo and the Pharmacists is still considered Indie, but they most definitely should be in RB

I would love to see some Indie, although the only Indie I know is Death Cab for Cutie, The Decemberists, Bright Eyes, and the Shins. I would like to see some DCfC and a couple Bright Eyes, bc I can sing Bright Eyes perfectly.

i dont' think those are actual "indie" bands. correct me if i'm wrong but all of those bands are signed to major labels. again idk if thats true or not but i know for a fact that death cab and the decemberists are fairly known, and the OP is probably asking for the real definition of indie meaning completely underground and not on a major record label

This song would actually be fun, not impossible like Jordan.
These are my favorite Underground/Unknown bands. I some of you can enjoy them.

Yeah I'm not too knowledgeable on the term "Indie" I thought it was a genre of music but I guess it just means unsigned.

I thought it meant unsigned myself, but lately it seems every new band that comes out gets labeled "indie" such that it's become some ill-defined genre like alternative. (i.e. bands I've heard called indie - Muse, The Killers, Bloc Party).

Just to let you know I wasnt claiming that any of the bands I were posting were Indie. I was just saying they were Underground/Unknown. Which as far as I know most people havent heard of the bands I posted.

Indie is both an label status and a genre. More typically though, it's Independent for label, and Indie for Genre.
Muse, The Killers, Bloc Party, Kings of Leon, Band of Horses, Death Cab, Bright Eyes, The Decemberists, and The Shins are all Indie, but none are Independent. Except Bright Eyes maybe? I have no idea on them.

not necessarily unsigned just to a label that isn't huge and **** (and i guess unsigned) and you are right. i think i've said somewhere else about the ****ty "alternative" label, the same goes for indie. indie isn't a genre, its a term describing small time labels/bands

I'd love to see a Lordi album for this game, someone said they look like KISS but I strongly disagree with that, that DEATH SS band looks more like KISS, they're just better than KISS lol. As for Lordi they remind me more of GWAR but you can actually understand the singer. Some of the songs that would be perfect for RB are "Bringing back the balls to rock.", "Hardrock Hallelujah.", "Pet the destroyer.", and if it was DLC then they could throw in "Who's your daddy?" If you guys haven't heard of the band or the music I suggest you check them out, they're really good. Some of the hardcore classic people here might hate them though, I just try to keep an open mind and accept all forms of rock :P

Yeah I love Lordi. The Devil is a Loser would also be a really fun song. I dont really want to start a flame war, but I personally beleive that Lordi is like a more serious musical version of GWAR. I love GWAR, but they are more about the stage show and everything they do is kind of a joke. I would still drive to another state to see a GWAR show though. They should put in Sick Of You by GWAR as well as Lordi :D!
