The Raconteurs: NEW Music great for RB

Alright im listening to a few tracks from the new raconteurs album Consolers Of The Lonely. They would be totaly awsome
although not the white stripes they are close and have bass

Rock Band Needs The Raconteurs most definitely.

I would say it could almost be a whole album package (Consolers of the Lonely) the cd is great, lots of fun guitar riffs and great bass to go with it.

My personal favorite would have to be Consolers of the lonely, Hold Up, or Carolina Drama (i know it wouldn't be the best song for RB but it's a damn good song)

Broken Boy Soldier-this song is seriously psychadelic if you can't feel Jim Morrison guiding the men through this song...you're missing something in your cranium.
Store Bought Bones-interesting vocal lines and guitars intermix
Blue Veins-this song is single handedly the best song they've done


Consolers of the Lonely has alot of good songs and I haven't had time to sit down and dissect the album yet...but I'd be happy to find any of them on RB

I'm going to see the Raconteurs in August.

Consoler of the Lonely is one of my favorite songs on the album, but I just can't see it as a Rock Band track. The bass line and drums are so much more interesting than the guitar part, and there's not much of a solo to speak of. It's got a nice riff, but the rest of the song is mostly a repetition of the same chords. :(

Sadly, some of the other songs that I really enjoy on the album don't translate well either. The four that I think work best would be:

Hold Up
Five on the Five
Attention

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The album is getting good press, so hopefully we'll se something eventually.
