The Smiths and The Stone Roses

How could we ignore 2 of the best bands from the 80s? I Am The Resurrection would be freakin' insane to play, the last 4 or so minutes are pure jamming. I can see a lot of their stuff from the more Zeppelin inspired Second Coming working as well, but they won't have the same impact or be as fun as IATR (except for maybe Breaking Into Heaven).

From The Smiths, I can see This Charming Man work especially for the guitar and bass bits. Be funny to see people impersonate Morrissey. :D

I agree we definitely need The Smiths in RB, it would be cool if they included any of these songs: Hand in Glove, Big Mouth Strikes Again, Ask.

How Soon is Now would be good but no Stone Roses. Already too many duplicate songs/bands with this and GH.

She Bangs The Drum is the #1 reason I'm picking up GH3, though I think IATR would be much funner to play. I don't see a problem with duplicate bands, as long as there are different songs.

If they did any Smiths song in this game, I'd like to see some of their edgier later stuff like "London" or "Sweet And Tender Hooligan" from them, rather than their earlier jangle-pop stuff. Maybe a song like "Hand In Glove" or "This Charming Man" would be OK from their earlier albums.

I never thought that the Smiths would be considered for a game like this but after seeing The Pixies in RB and the Stone Roses in GHIII, anything's possible.

OMG she bangs the drum is in GH3??? oooh i am so getting that. I am the ressurection should so be on Rock Band, just so i can play that awesome drum intro. Put Stone Roses in and id even play bass, Mani FTW!!!! and id even be convinced to sing.
