Woodstock was maybe the greatest moment in Rock n' Roll History, and for the moment, we don't have a lot of 60's songs. A song from this festival is needed in Rock Band.

My favorite choice would be Ten Years After - I'm Going Home (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHw9b4BBV9Y). Amazing guitar, great bass and drums, powerful singing. I can't see better material for RB.

" I personally think that this would be a great idea then they could also add a venue called OZZFEST!"

That would be nice, but I'm talking about music, not venues. There is already some metal and hard rock in Rock Band.

How about Ten Years After I'd Love to Change the World- great lyrics, awesome guitar riffs, but not quite as wonderful drums as Going Home

black sabbath and metallica are both soft, popular metal. there needs to be more.

my post was somewhat sarcastic, meaning that there is barely a trace of metal in the setlist so far.

Reading over the oldies thread, I'm curious if the recordings from Woodstock would be usable for Rock Band. I think it'd be amazing to release alot of the performances from that festival. Jimi Hendrix, Creedence, Jefferson Airplane, Sly and the Family Stone...it'd be mind-blowing. Then there's Sha-na-na.

If you think THAT is soft, then I'd hate to see what kind of tuneless untuned guitar thrashing, mindless screeching vocals you'd like. We have more than enough of that too.

I think that WoodStock should become

Rock Band: Woodstock and you only play at Woodstock fields

and the code you get from buying the game would get all the music and Woodstock fields for Rock Band 1 or 2, and also give more clothes that the artist that performed at woodstock would wear along with new hair styles

This year will mark the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, so...for the week of said anniversary, there should be a Woodstock pack to download.

Songs from the artists who performed at the show, including (hopefully) Jimi's version of the Star-Spangled Banner, and the Who.
