Dude!!! check your TV settings first!! I assume that you are using a HDMI cable and you have a HDTV right? Check the apect ratio to see if it's correct if you have your PS3 on a 16:9 ratio and your TV on 4:3 or viceversa, that could be the problem. The same thing happend to me. If this does not fix it, then go ahead and buy another cable, I'm telling you this because HDMI cables aren't cheap, of course you already know that.

No, it's not an HDMI it's just component cables, which goes only to 1080i and not 1080p, It worked just fine until this update, thats what I can't figure out.

I called the "Sony helpline" and thats what he said the problem was. At least I can always return the new cables if they don't work, I've had these current ones over a month and I don't think they'd except them bundled up with an elastic or something because that box is long gone. lol

Everybody has been having that problem, I haven't been online since yesterday evening so I don't know what's the status right now. But I hope that all our pts. and rewards have been saved in some server somewhere and will update accordingly once everything is fixed.

And just to let you all know, if by tomorrow morning there are no more clan name proposals I will round up all available options so we can vote. Ok!!? That way we can have our clan up and ready by this weekend. :)

"First off -- I want to let all of you know that, contrary to some of the posts here...the team was not sailing around, enjoying the labor day holiday while you all played and earned medals that were ultimately never awarded to you :-)

We have been pretty quiet recently as we look to determine the root cause of some of the issues that some players are currently experiencing. Some items we have fixes for, some we are still working on -- probably not the exact response that you wanted to hear, but its at least a status update.

The three main issues that we are tracking are:
Stats and Ranking errors, delayed posting, missing stats.
"Connection Failed" or otherwise messed-up join game errors.
Network Drops/Disconnects (we have a fix for these and should be deployed in the next service window)
Our team here at Incognito along with our great support team in San Diego were, and continue to be, diligently working on these issues. I want to reassure everyone that while we *have* been quiet these last few days, it is NOT a sign that we are off on some tropical island somewhere...we are hard at work on the big issues.

I'm not going to spin it and say "oh....we just had soooo many players.....so successful...blah, blah, blah."

That's a bulls&*#$t PR answer. The fact of the matter is that, there were some unforeseen issues that occurred once we went live...plain and simple. From here on out, look for far more frequent updates from us...even if its bad news.

Lastly, while I appreciate everyone's excitement and feedback. I beg of you please don't call my office :-)

My phone number was posted here and in a few other places and while I have had really good conversations with some of you, the team and I need to focus all of our attention on getting you great service...not going though 300 voicemails a day - I do hope you can understand.

Totally! The last chapter is crazy! I simply love the Aftertouch and the Playtime chapter with Kai, oh man! I had to play that one five or six times due to awesomeness! Pick it up LZ!

I'm playing Lair now as we, or I, speak. The tilt controllers are not nearly as bad as they are made out to be. There is a tutorial at the beginning that lets you get the hang of the whole thing. It's a good visually so far, but it just doesn't compare to Heavenly Sword.
