OK this is one thing that is bugging me.
Is the drum kit just for right handed drummers, like in all the video's or are you going to be able to switch the controls for a left handed drummer like me?
thinking about it, its not that hard to do. Just have the sequance reversed.
I can play right handed but not the way the pads are set up, i'd have to cross my hands so rolls would be a pain. and there is no way i'm gonna relrean to play right handed...
Im so hoping!!!!
Anyone else think the same?

OK after looking thru the posts on the forums seems that everyone is worried about the fact that they are going to have to play open handed.
Well i'll have to cross my legs and arms to play as I'm a total leftie. All they need to do is have an option to mirrior the sequance of notes to be played to right to left and i'll be happy.
a guirar player can just turn the guitar upside down and play. Please dont forget about us left handed drummers. I have played many gigs all of London and yes there are few left handed drummers around but we do exist (Phil Collins is a leftie i think) and we always get forgotten (damn those sound engineers)
PLEASE PLEASE put in an option for left handed drummers!!!!! It really cant be that hard.

HMX said left hand players will be supportted fully so I'm sure a left handed mirror option will be available. The drum controller is symeterical and it'd be an awesome idea to lets the color rings to be swappable.

Lefty flip would be the same as the guitar.... only difference is the colors would stay the same on the board.
At least that is what makes the most sense to me.

Guitar players don't just turn the guitar upside down. They also reverse the color pattern of the note tracks. All they would have to do is include that SAME option for the drum note track. The only dis-advantage for drummers is that the colors on the physical kit wouldn't match the reversed drum track (but who really looks down anyway).
I can't imagine them not offering this option for left handed drummers...

Drums likely have lefty flip, it probably just mirrors the notecharts.

Assuming that there is a lefty flip option, I doubt that the track note colors would get flipped, as there's no physical flipping of the instrument... It's just going to flip the tracks, and keep the colors on screen the same.

Though it may not add much to the conversation, but for lefty drummers you can slide the kick pedal to either side of the kit (or put it in the center, etc...) to switch what leg you want to kick with as well... as it has already been said, you can just choose "Lefty Flip" (or the equivilent in RB).

I'm just going to play righty. I'm left handed and I did it for GH, so I'm sure it won't be hard to do in RB.

This is why there should be an 'Assign sounds to different pads' feature because, if the colored circles switched around on-screen like GH's lefty-filp, the drumset then can't be switched around like a GH controller. So, if you could go to options and just assign the different sounds to different pads, it'd be SO much easier. But, as seen on videos, when the game is paused by the drums or guitar, there's a lefty-flip option in the pause menu, so, I'm assuming that there is indeed lefty-flip and the hi-hat would then be on the green pad rather than the red and snare on the the blue pad rather than the yellow.:D

Actually, I heard from a VERY reliable source that they're shipping 100,000,000 left-handed drum kits accross the world. They thought it'd be to hard to include a pad-switch feature.
The only difference with this drum kit is that it goes (from left to right) green, blue, yellow, then red. It also has a built-in banana phone. The green pad is also different from the rest. Instead of being drum-pad-shaped, it's Kermit-shaped, and doesn't do anything.

A lefty feature for drums wouldn't be difficult at all....

There is a lefty-flip for drummers. It would be unfair to have it for guitar and bass, and not drums.
I was watching the stage demo from PAX video on GameSpot and they showed a pause screen during a drummer vs. drummer battle and one of the options was "Lefty Flip." Don't believe me? See below:
