There's a delay, it happens.
Just be patient.

With that attitude you won't get anything. You payed for the game, you have a problem, you will wait for answers.

Could you explain what you are talking about?
I have a PS3, should I be upset about a feature I know nothing about?
WTF are you referring to?
Linking your account to what profile, and for what purpose?
Just feel kinda ignorant as to what the problem is.
Thanks.

For me, it was roughly a week before it accepted my code. I'm only guessing here, but I think what happens is the first time you connect online it uploads the code for your system to the servers, but it takes some time before that code updates to this site. So for a period of time this website has no idea that your code exists, but eventually it will finally update and be able to accept your code.
Again, I'm only guessing, but this scenario seems to be the only thing that makes sense. I entered the same code over and over for a week with it telling me the code was invalid until one day it finally accepted it. Now, I can see that it's taking forever for my scores to update on this site properly. It'd be interesting to hear exactly how this update process works and what's causing the delay, which is what I believe you're asking for. I'm not sure they'd go into that sort of detail with us, but it'd be a good read if they did.

Thanks firebreak for the information
cody - if you look at the numerous threads with your very same problem, you will realize that we are aware of the issue and are trying to work on a solution. However, the details of our database and network structure are not something I'm going to start posting here :P
But trust me when I say that we are trying to fix it!

So can anyone tell me:
What is the need for this,
What does it DO for you,
and WHY is it so important?
