Golden Insterment Symbols?

I just got done playing with a dude online and he was doing guitar and a buddy doing drums. I obviously saw that during the song the little guitar and drum icon over the guitar and drum notes were gold. I first assumed that maybe he or she beat the game with gold staring every song, but as we started to play Boston's Long Time, the drummer failed in the intro and then i brought him back, then the guitarist failed in the first solo and struggled throughout the rest of the song. I've gold stared at least half of the songs in this game on guitar but I can't gold star Long Time, BUT I can get though the song with ease.

So what is this Golden Icon?

And how can I get one?

yup ... endless setlist is in the band world tour.. you have to beat all 58 songs in a row.. med. you get an inverted icon... hard.. gold icon... expert.. platinum icon

yeh it might take awhile also b/c you have to play so many venues just to be able to play the endless setlist. so thats like 5+ hrs of play and then another 5-6 for the 58 songs. one reason why they should of made band tour online playable

You don't even have to play them, I just skip the percussion parts. Or sometimes my wife will grab the controller and hit the x button for me.

I either ignore them, or I blow short puffs of air into the mic (works great). When you're talking about the endless setlist, it's best to save your voice, so puffs of air do the trick.

Shouting/singing loudly works for me.

They're also not absolutely necessary. While you lose out in points, missing them doesn't hurt you crowd meter-wise.

Still, there's something about going "DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN! DUUUUUUUUUUUUN!" during foreplay that's just so satisfying.

Also, at the beginning of "Foreplay/Longtime."
