[EDIT] I would recommend playing the song as you read.
I love this song and I would love to see it in this game, and even though my preference in music purely opinion, its hard to look past this song because each element of the song(vocal, drums, guitar, bass)would be pretty difficult.
Also it is (IMO) the perfect length for the final encore because its longer than your normal song but its not stupid long like freebird. The thing I like about this song is that i think that more people might fail in the beginning rather than later in the song, which is very un-frustrating, because playing a wicked long song with a slow beginning to later fail towards the end sucks, alot (freebird).
[NOTE] I vote this song for a "full band" final encore, not a single instrument.
Vocals: I love the lyrics to this song and the vocals which is just my opinion, but im sure it would be pretty difficult to belt out all those high notes, and I think it would be a blast to sing this song. I'm one of the people who will NOT be singing in RockBand, but I would definitely be the singer for this song. The only thing bad about vocals is the lack of vocals in foreplay, but if you can be patient enough to wait for longtime, you'll be rewarded.
Drums: I don't know much about drums when it comes to hearing a drum track and figuring out if it would be difficult or not, but the drums in "foreplay" sound like they would be very very challenging. It sounds like 7:16 to 6:52 would be wicked hard.
Guitar: The guitar in foreplay is pretty decent but pretty much just chord progression, but longtime is where the guitarist gets to shine. Longtime starts out with a solo and never really gets boring throughout. 3:40 would be an awesome time to test out those "solo buttons"
Bass: Honestly, the bass in this song isn't really great at all, but then again bass isn't that great in rockband anyways, which is why they decided to let bassists get a 6x multiplier without starpower. But the little bass fill at 6:49 would be pretty fun to play.
Keyboard: If there was a keyboard controller for Rockband, and this song wasnt the final encore, I would kill 5 babies a day until they reissued rockband with an updated setlist.
So there, hopefully most of you will agree with me, especially the ones making the game, even though its probably way too late to persuade them to put it in. Hopefully this song will make its way onto the game somehow(on disc, or dl content) because i would love to play it with my friends and family.
